Nikklo and Tarek appeared in the center of the field.
NOTE: NIKKLO IS IN MALE SAILI FOR UNTIL FURTHER NOTED.
NIKKLO
I, Great Defender Nikklosannaro Damirateyak, am here to surrender myself and stabilize the world. Great Forger Tarek of Sailia is here to help me keep my containment so I will not cause further harm and help me heal myself from my injuries. We are here because we have found proof that the Brocana are survivors of the destruction of Tauia who have been awaiting our return to make amends for their loss. They are our relatives and that is why I came to protect them from this conflict. I can show proof of this once I have restored stability to this world.
STEVE said through the loudspeaker of his cruiser.
STEVE P.O.
Proceed.
Tarek placed his hand on Nikklo's shoulder.
TAREK
I will monitor you while you use your power to restore the balance to reality.
Nikklo carefully opened his core a crack and shifted reality back into balance. He felt the tear close up again and everything settled back into continuity. He closed his core.
NIKKLO
Reality is rebalanced. I will make an entryway to the underground wall that showed proof that the Brocana were survivors of Tauia to explain why I felt the need to protect them. I am trying to right wrongs to make atonement for those wrongs done before Human law existed.
STEVE P.O.
Well, the Brocana stopped fighting so my command has said they can return to their camps. We will investigate this proof you have that the Brocana are survivors of Tauia and go from there.
NIKKLO
Thank you, Commander Leighson.
Nikklo turned to Jon.
NIKKLO
I'll have to leave the organization of moving the Brocana back to their camps to you, Jon. I'm not well and need to go back with Tarek for healing.
JON
I will work on that, Nik.
Marc looked carefully at Nikklo.
MARC
Do you even know where the hell you are?
NIKKLO
I know that but not much else.
TAREK
Commander Leighson, can I have a few days to heal Great Defender Nikklo before he comes back to unearth the Tauian grotto?
STEVE P.O.
I think that's a good idea. He looks very unfocused. Get him back to Sailia.
NIKKLO
Can my personnel ask for a new shuttle to return them to the Euryanassa? Marc can disclose the location of my ship and relocate it to a proper berth.
STEVE V.O.
They can relocate to a proper berth and request transport.
TAREK
Come on, Nik, let's get you to Sailia. You're about to collapse.
NIKKLO
I think that's a good idea.
Tarek and Nikklo changed to TAUIAN FORM and Tarek phased Nikklo back to Sailia.
INT. TAREK'S CAVERN, SAILIA
Several days later, Nikklo woke again with a clear head. He carefully walked to the living area and found Tarek talking to Haelatika.
TAREK
Nik, you should have sent to me that you were awake.
NIKKLO
I was scared to do that. I was so confused before.
TAREK
Do you know where you are now?
NIKKLO
Misipatatasutisga on Sailia, the Forge of the Great Forger.
TAREK
What is the name of your ship?
NIKKLO
Euryanassa.
TAREK
Where is it now?
NIKKLO
At Bamasha.
TAREK
Where is his home?
NIKKLO
Gasbaja.
TAREK
Okay, you're thinking clearly again.
NIKKLO
I'm also terribly hungry.
HAELATIKA
I'm not surprised. Do you want a complicated meal or something quick?
NIKKLO
Quick please, I'm faint with hunger.
TAREK
Self-awareness is good. You're recovering well.
NIKKLO
That confusion scared the hell out of me. I didn't know where home was again just like when Verano tried to wipe out my memory. Surprisingly, Belvas helped me to think about traveling to Misipatasutisga for help.
TAREK
It's good that Belvas helped you have some form of clarity.
NIKKLO
I could have gotten lost in all of reality so easily if I had just given up to the confusion.
TAREK
But you didn't give in to the confusion. Your stubbornness served you well that time.
Nikklo cracked a quirky grin and sat down to eat the cheeseburger Haelatika served him.
Once Nikklo was finished with his meal, Nikklo and Tarek phased back to Bamasha.
EXT. CRASH SITE, ALDUMU'S POINT, BAMASHA - DAY
TAUIAN NIKKLO AND TAREK landed near the hole Toko's shuttle broke through the ground near Aldumu's Point.
NIKKLO AND TAREK CHANGED TO SAILI FORM.
TAREK
There's a lot of shifting sand here.
NIKKLO
We can use some of the sandstone to push the shifting sand back to make a solid tunnel to the grotto. Aldumu understands why I need to move his rock to show the Humans the proof.
TAREK
So you did meet him?
NIKKLO
Yes, he's a sentient star like me. He just doesn't like to show himself like I do.
TAREK
So there are more of your kind in the universe?
NIKKLO
Yes, there are. I'm just the most unwilling to remain in one place.
Nikklo carefully used his magnetic powers to make a tunnel through the shifting sand with large stones until they were well under ground.
As they turned around, they saw Hesshia was in the tunnel with several other men.
ASCENDED #1
Nikklosannaro, we are the ascended who are here to address a grievance lodged by Hesshia. You caused the unnatural dematerialization of Ares during a fight.
NIKKLO
He caused my core to destabilize and almost destroy all of reality!
ALDUMU
Ares stirred dissidence in my system!
ASCENDED #1
We hear your grievance, Aldumu. We will address that later. We recognize that stirring dissidence was Ares intention. We do not condone his intention any more than we condone that you dematerialized Ares so we have decided to restore both of you to your former states before the altercation.
NIKKLO
How about revealing this grotto to the Humans?
ASCENDED #1
We will allow you to reveal this grotto to the Humans as a part of your atonement for the destruction of Tauia and healing the Prisean.
NIKKLO
Thank you. I accept your ruling.
Ascended #1 waved his hand and Ares body reformed.
Ares glared at Nikklo.
ASCENDED #1
Ares, we have restored your form by request of Hesshia. You are to refrain from attacking Nikklosannaro again and Hesshia has requested to have her marriage with you officially recognized as dissolved because of abuses done to her in your attempts to trap Nikklosannaro.
ARES
So he gets to do whatever he wants to do?
ASCENDED #1
We have allowed him to remain a micro because he causes too much mischief when we force him to remain in the macro realm. He's happier as a micro as long as we keep him under observation.
ARES
He causes less mischief as a micro? You've got to be kidding!
ASCENDED #1
Don't complicate our job again, Ares.
ARES
I did not know that, Ascended. I will leave him alone from now on.
NIKKLO
Wait, you knew I was one of the macros and you let me be a micro?
ASCENDED #1
You're more manageable when you have a busy life to distract you.
TAREK
I'm glad you approve of us keeping him busy!
The leader of the ascended nodded his head with a quirky grin.
The air shimmered then Tarek and Nikklo were again alone in the tunnel.
They walked back out into the sunlight.
They changed to TAUIAN FORM.
NIKKLO PSI V.O.
Marc, where are you?
MARC PSI V.O.
Back on Euryanassa at Jayma Station synchronous orbit parking area acting like a legitimate visitor.
NIKKLO PSI V.O.
Well, that's a change. Tarek and I are coming back with some big news.
We're going to have to get Jon and all the Brocana elders together, including the renegade leaders to talk about something we learned about Brocana history that needs to be revealed.
MARC PSI V.O.
Wow, this sounds important.
NIKKLO PSI V.O.
It is. We'll be there soon.
MARC PSI V.O.
Okay, I'll get Di on it right away.
Nikklo refocused on his external state.
TAREK
Are you finished?
NIKKLO
Done.
TAREK
Okay, to your ship?
NIKKLO
Yep, Yuri's at Jayma Station.
TAREK
That sounds like a good start. Let's fly.
Tarek and Nikklo changed to Tauian form and phased to the Euryanassa.
They appeared on the bridge.
Di'ok turned from his communication station.
DI'OK
I have Jon on the line. He wants to know why we're wanting to gather so many Brocana elders, even renegades?
NIKKLO
Even Renegades because when Toko crashed his shuttle, he unearthed an important piece of Brocana history that we must give back to them.
DI'OK
Damn.
Di'ok relayed Nikklo's message then turned back to Nikklo.
DI'OK (CONT)
Okay, Jon is spreading the word. He says he's already getting curious responses.
MARC
What history?
NIKKLO
I think you should wait to see this, my friend.
MARC
It's that huge?
NIKKLO
It's that huge.
MARC
Okay, I'll wait.
CHERNA
What about me?
NIKKLO
Honey, I need for you continue to man the bridge. At least you no longer have to keep us hidden.
CHERNA
I'm glad for that. But, are you okay? You seem a bit tired.
NIKKLO
I've had a very rough time and Tarek had to heal me of a core injury but I'm trying not to overwork myself. This pilgrimage has to be done.
Nikklo felt a sudden weight on his shoulders. He reached up and shifted Linea into his arms.
NIKKLO
I'm glad to see you, too, Lini. Aren't you supposed to be with Aunt Talia?
Talia rushed through the hatch.
TALIA
Yes, she's supposed to be with Aunt Talia.
TAREK
Talia, we found a relic from the Prisean! Some of the survivors came here!
Talia smiled.
TALIA
I'm glad they found a way to survive.
LINEA V.O.
(electric voice from necklace)
I wanna see it!
NIKKLO
Nui, you stay with Aunt Talia.
TALIA
(hesitantly)
I would like to see it too, to tell you the truth.

I am Tauian! I fly away if Humans get mad!
TALIA
I will guard her and remove her from harm if the situation becomes explosive.
TAREK
(whispered)
I don't think you're going to win this one!
NIKKLO
Whose side are you on?
TAREK
It's Talia and Linea's history too. I know you want to keep your daughter safe but she's right that she's Tauian and can fly away if fighting breaks out.
NIKKLO
She's so young!
CHERNA
And as stubborn as her parent!
NIKKLO
Oh, great, now I'm being ganged up on. Okay, Talia will guard Linea and
go to the pilgrimage.
Linea bounced into the air.
LINEA V.O.
Haiko!
NIKKLO
Back to the deck plates right now, hala!
Linea sank back down to the floor.
Nikklo returned Linea to Talia.
NIKKLO (CONT.)
Are you ready to go, Marc?
MARC
Let's go.
Marc touched Nikklo's shoulder.
Linea sat on Nikklo's shoulder.
Nikklo looked at Linea again and sighed.
Talia took Tarek's hand and smiled before they disappeared.
Nikklo, Tarek, Talia and Linea changed to TAUIAN FORM.
Nikklo and Tarek phased them to Jon on Bamasha.
Nikklo, Tarek, Talia and Linea changed to SAILI FORM.
JON
What is this, Nik?
NIKKLO
I am asking that we make a pilgrimage to Aldumu's Point.
Daniko moved to Nikklo's side.
DANIKO
Why, Shaman Statukuimoyo?
NIKKLO
Elder Daniko, I have found something that explains the Brocana past that I think all must see and learn from.
DANIKO
All?
NIKKLO
All, including the Renegades because we are all from the same past and I have proof at Aldumu's Point.
In an empty field within view, a terrestrial police cruiser and an ISP cruiser came to rest on the ground. A police officer walked up to them. Shortly, Steve and Jim joined them.
GROUND POLICEMAN #1
Greetings, Brocana Elders. I was told to find out what you're gathering about now?
JON
We have been asked by Great Defender Nikklosannaro to do a pilgrimage to see an historical site near Aldumu's Point.
STEVE
What historical site?
NIKKLO
It pertains to the history of the Brocana arrival to this world that I think they need to know about.
GROUND POLICEMAN #1
Why are you involved?
NIKKLO
Because I am related to the Brocana and this is shared history.
GROUND POLICEMAN #1
Huh, you don't look like it.
NIKKLO
If you remember from the earlier conflict, I'm a shape shifter so I don't always take my natural form.
GROUND POLICEMAN #1
That's true. Ambassador Daniels, can we set up an escort to make sure there is no further conflicts?
DANIKO
Will there be no further conflicts, Policeman?
GROUND POLICEMAN #1
We're talking calmly now, Elder.
NIKKLO
(firmly)
There will be no further conflicts. This is a pilgrimage of peace. I don't care how we get there, by sinvati, fliers or Tauian phasing but there will be no further conflicts allowed. You don't want things to warp weirdly again, do you?
DANIKO
No, Tsikakayu.
STEVE
No, General.
NIKKLO
Okay, then the police can set an escort and the Brocana can discuss how they're going to travel to Aldumu's Point. I will wait for news of how we're going to do this pilgrimage.
DANIKO
I am so curious about what you wish to show us, I would be willing to accept your phasing talent!
Nikklo turned in surprise.
NIKKLO
Really?
CHECHIKI
I don't want to wait on a Sinvati ride! I am impatient to see this proof.
NIKKLO
Okay, then I will phase everyone once we are linked together.
Tarek arched his eyebrows in surprise.
NIKKLO PSI V.O.
Surprising to me too but I would rather get there quickly, too.
MARC PSI V.O.
We'll get everyone linked. Once everyone is linked, I'll close the link with you and you can phase us.
NIKKLO
I'll be standing by.
Several minutes passed before Nikklo felt Marc's hand on his shoulder.
NIKKLO
Preparing to phase.
Nikklo shifted to TAUIAN FORM.
END ACT 1
ACT 2
EXT. ALDUMU'S POINT, TEKETRI PLAINS - CONTINUOUS
The large group of Saili and Brocana appeared at Aldumu's Point.
The group looked around in amazement.
DANIKO
(awed)
We are really at the base of Aldumu's Point?
NIKKLO
We are and the underground tunnel we need to enter is a few meters away.
DANIKO
Why did you not take us into the tunnel?
NIKKLO
I don't travel well in dim light or darkness. The tunnel has no lighting so we'll have to walk into the tunnel. Let's move to shade so we can await the police escort.
CHECHIKI
I don't like police!
NIKKLO
I agree that sometimes they can be a pain in the ass but if we're going to have peace between Brocana and Humans, I think we need to allow the police to witness the revealing of history.
MARC
Hey, I was a policeman!
Nikklo smirked.
NIKKLO
Yes, and you can still be a pain in the ass!
Marc glared before he snorted and shook his head.
They took refuge in the shadows of the rock formations.
Nikklo walked over to Steve's cruiser after it landed.
Steve met them at the ramp.
STEVE
That's a whole lot of Brocana!
NIKKLO
Yes, they want to know the past too. We are waiting on a terrestrial police team. Once they are here, we'll go into the tunnel so we can show you what we've found.
STEVE
Okay.
A few minutes later, the police vehicle landed on the ground.
The two terrestrial policemen emerged from the police cruiser.
GROUND POLICEMAN #1
Okay, General, where is this site?
Steve and Jim joined the two terrestrial police officers.
NIKKLO
Everyone follow me.
Nikklo lead the crowd across the sand until he came to the now reinforced tunnel entrance. He led them down the ramp into the darkness.
DANIKO
Is it far?
NIKKLO
Not far once we reach the darkness.
The darkness enveloped them and Nikklo had to suppress his claustrophobia with a reminder that their destination wasn't that far in.
His Saili eyesight accentuated the dim light until the darkness was almost like daylight. He stopped and turned to the left.
NIKKLO
We're there. Please stop and we will set up lighting so that everyone can see the stone slab we want you to see.
The Policemen pulled out flashlights and looked around.
Tarek disappeared then returned with flood lights and set them around the carved rock.
TAREK
Please be warned that I am turning on strong lights.
Tarek waited for a half minute before he turned the lights on.
The crowd gasped at the tall rock covered with petraglyphs.
NIKKLO
We realize the Brocana may have forgotten how to read Prisean. I will translate for you although some glyphs may be familiar. This is only the beginning of what is here. The first pictograph shows the brutal war between the humanoid Prisean and the crystal carapace beings known as the Krustalos.
CHECHIKI
We know your history, Tsikakayu. How does that have to do with us?
Daniko nodded.
DANIKO
That is good question, Chechiki. We Brocana have always been simple folk who wander the mountains and plains the Humans believe unlivable. We did not come from the unending darkness!
STEVE
Why does this have to do with us?
TAREK
There can't be peace in this galaxy until the Tauian War is completely ended. That's up to me and Nik to bring that to a close.
Nikklo walked closer to the wall and pointed to a pictograph.
NIKKLO
This panel shows a slow degrading of Tauia because of earthquakes and tidal waves. The next panel shows many people boarding a spaceship to leave the dying world.
Jon pointed to another panel.
JON
And this shows the spaceship approaching a solar system with two suns! It landed and many people walked onto a world near a towering obelisk!
DANIKO
We are not the people these pictures show. We are done here. This does not belong to Brocana.
Daniko turned to walk back through the tunnel.
CHECHIKI
(yelled)
You go back to your safe clans! We Renegades never had life easy because we were turned away from clans! What if this is history of Brocana? I want to know!
DANIKO
Then you can stay, Renegade. I have seen all I wish to see!
Candora stepped up to the stone.
CANDORA
You are blind, Daniko! That's Aldumu's point the spaceship sits beside! If we are not these people then where did they go?
DANIKO
I don't care!
STEVE
I'd like to know where they went.
JIM
Me too.
The ground policemen nodded in agreement.
CANDORA
Nikklo, what is this script below all the pictures?
NIKKLO
It is Prisean script that says “Never again will we touch machines so we may hide here from the Destroyer of Worlds! - Prisean Council.
CANDORA
That explains why we Brocana have made laws that forbid us to use machines!
DANIKO
You violated that law, Candora! You are as much Renegade as Chechiki!
CANDORA
So why did you give me the shaman brand if I was no more than a Renegade, Daniko?
DANIKO
Our people are less! We have been preyed upon by Humans because we chose simpler ways! We had to find who we once would not choose to work for the clans because many have died!
CHECHIKI
(yelled)
So you branded the Destroyer of Worlds as a Shaman! What great leader you are, Daniko!
DANIKO
(yelled)
We gave him the Shaman brand because we appreciated that he worked himself to exhaustion to save our lands from wildfire!
CHECHIKI
What if the wall is right that he is the ancient enemy of Brocana?
JON
Enough, gentlemen. What he did was to suppress the wildfire of Kobihok Ridge and he learned how to be a Brocana Shaman to heal people of any heritage from the Gelstone Parasite and used all the knowledge he had to convince the Humans to stop harming Brocana.
NIKKLO
The Humans were aggravated into targeting Brocana to prevent us from knowing about this past.
Nikklo pointed to the ship.
NIKKLO (CONT.)
We know now.
CHECHIKI
But you made us homeless!
Nikklo bowed his head.
NIKKLO
I did but not by my choosing. I'm sorry I destabilized Tauia while I
was in agony. All the fighting I've done to defend all of you has been a show of remorse for what I did.
CHECHIKI
So where is the spaceship that brought us here?
NIKKLO
The spaceship is behind this wall.
CHECHIKI
Open it!
NIKKLO
Father, you would know more about Prisean devices.
Tarek studied the rock closely for several minutes. He touched the pictures of the suns and pressed on the spaceship.
The immense rock shifted and was pulled into the rock wall like a hatch door.
The Policemen stumbled back and pulled their guns.
NIKKLO
Easy, Officers, it's only a hatch.
The policemen nervously holstered their guns again.
Several people picked up the lights and moved toward the gaping darkness.
Daniko scowled at the darkness but reluctantly move through the entrance with the other Brocana.
The flood lights sliced through the darkness for a few minutes until they saw shiny surfaces that reflected the light.
The light-bearers set the flood lights on the ground.
Tarek approached the shiny huge object and held his hand up.
Nikklo sensed Tarek's power surge.
TAREK
Yes, this is the Prisean spaceship. I recognize it from memories of long ago. It's dormant. My brothers and sisters belongings are stored here.
JIM
What? I thought you were Tauian?
TAREK
I'm half Tauian Krustallos. My father was Krustallos. My mother was Prisean.
JIM
The Brocana can never be complete again until they can be reconciled with their past. Marc has always been conflicted. Now I know why.
Marc stood from beside his former ISP partner.
MARC
Yeah, now I know why.
STEVE
What the hell happened when everything started to bend all tripy at the mine?
NIKKLO
That was a conflict among other more powerful beings like me who thought I had done wrong but I was exonerated and allowed to continue to reveal this grotto.
STEVE
Why are they here?
NIKKLO
Why are we all here, Commander Leighson?
STEVE
Hell if I know!
NIKKLO
Your answer is as good as mine so we just have to learn how to coexist. Can we power some of the systems up?
TAREK
I can see if the systems can handle it.
MARC
Wow, this is amazing that we came from this spaceship to this world.
DANIKO
Yes, Tsikakayu's Assistant. It is amazing but I am still not convinced we came here on this dark-crossing machine.
MARC
If this is a part of our history, wouldn't you want to know about it?
DANIKO
Truthfully, Marcayo, I dread the history here. It will change everything I have believed all my life.
MARC
Forgive me, elder, but I have considered Brocana reluctance to get beyond their fear of tech irritating.
DANIKO
You are Candora's son and she was always resentful of the limitations, too. We were upset when she ran away with Jonathan but we were not surprised. The only reason she was not formally made Renegade was because Jabayu told us it my be to our advantage that Jonathan was a diplomat.
MARC
So learn about this new story and see if you can accept it. I am giddy with curiosity.
DANIKO
I am not surprised that you are excited about this mysterious machine.
TAREK
The twin children who were stolen away from the Prisean woman was my sister and me.
Talia took Tarek's hand.
TALIA
It was a miserable existence filled with sadness and abuse.
Linea floated over to Nikklo, sank to the ground and took his hand.
NIKKLO
Easy, Lini.
LINEA V.O.
I okay, Daddy. Big ship. Not pyramid like Tauian ship.
NIKKLO
Prisean were like Humans so their ships were longer than they were tall.
Jon looked down at Linea and smiled.
JON
This is your youngest, Nik?
NIKKLO
Yes, she's my baby.
Candora chuckled.
CANDORA
She's darling, Nikky.
LINEA V.O.
They, Marc's Mommy and Daddy?
Nikklo shook his head in amusement.
NIKKLO
Houk, they're Marc's Mommy and Daddy.
LINEA V.O.
You know Amaranta?
Candora grinned.
CANDORA
Oh, yes, Linea, we know Amaranta.
LINEA V.O.
Ama likes brother Andoku!
JON
So we've heard.
NIKKLO
Quiet down, Lini. We need to look at the ship.
Tarek pointed to the ship.
TAREK
This is our shared past. I am Nikklo's father. We wish to make amends for what we were forced to do while enslaved by the Krustalos. We
are here today to ask for forgiveness.
DANIKO
The fighting has stopped because you both spoke for us.
CHECHIKI
You are renegade like we are. We are the dispossessed who struggle to survive outside of Brocana culture. Can we be forgiven for taking the sun guns and using them for the defense of Brocana?
DANIKO
Many things are changing and we will need to explore this cave of history. We will reconsider your place in Brocana culture.
CHECHIKI
That is a start we will accept.
An electronic female voice echoed through the vast cavern.
COMPUTER V.O.
Alert! Krustalos presence detected!
A strong light shown on each person then four light beams stopped on Tarek, Talia, Nikklo and Linea.
Nikklo felt his muscles seize up.
Nikklo tried to move to pick up Linea but he felt like a low strength tractor beam was immobilizing his muscles.
LINEA V.O.
(panicked)
Daddy?
NIKKLO
Relax, Lini, we're stuck in a light restraint. Computer, we mean no harm.
COMPUTER V.O.
Scanning Krustalos presence. Female; Talia Mineklovak; Krustalos-Prisean lineage, moderate threat. Female; unknown; Krustalos; threat level unknown. Male; Tarek Mineklovak; Krustalos; high threat. Mixed gender; Nikklo Tarek-rakul-minek-lovak; Krustalos; high threat.
LINEA V.O.
(shouted)
Daddy, I'm scared!
NIKKLO
I know, hala, trust me and Grandpa to get us out of this.
COMPUTER V.O.
Identify unknown Krustalos-Prisean.
NIKKLO
Rakulinea.
(beat)
Rakulinea Ezron-nikklo-tarek-rakul. She's only eight months old!
COMPUTER V.O.
Female; Rakulinea Ezron-nikklo-tarek-rakul; Krustallos-Prisean lineage, low threat.
The light turned off over Linea.
Linea tried to take Nikklo's hand again but her tiny hand was kept away by the light.
LINEA V.O.
Daddy, Daddy, I no touch you!
Candora crouched beside Linea and hugged her.
CANDORA
We'll find a way to free your Daddy, little one.
COMPUTER V.O.

Tarek and I have come to ask the survivors of the destruction of Tauia for forgiveness for causing their homelessness. Talia and Linea accompanied us because they wanted to see this history that has reassured us our Prisean relatives made a new life on a new world.
Marc stepped up beside Nikklo.
MARC
Hey, scan me.

MARC
I'm Marcayo Daniels, son of Jonathan and Candora Daniels. I am also Nikklo's Executive Officer. He's been working tirelessly to find a way for people to forgive him for destroying Tauia. Must he beg a million times? He was a victim of Krustallos violence as much as we were! Yet, here he is asking time and again for some mercy that no one has considered giving him! Instead of saying he's Krustallos, why did you leave out that he is also Prisean just like Tarek? You seem to like to leave that out!
COMPUTER V.O.

MARC
Then why didn't you mention that Tarek and Nikklo are also of mixed heritage but you mentioned it about Talia?
COMPUTER V.O.
Talia has no criminal record.
Rakulinea has no criminal record.
MARC
So because Tarek and Nikklo have criminal records, your programmer left out Tarek and Nikklo's mixed heritage? As a policeman, I consider that manipulation of records.
COMPUTER V.O.
The records are being corrected, Marcayo Jonathan-candora.
MARC
Thank you. Now, do your records show that the destabilization of Tauia was caused by extreme pain Nikklo was subjected to when he was assaulted because multiple Krustalos held him down and maimed his arms and legs?
COMPUTER V.O.
It is known that Nikklo is the Destroyer of Worlds.
MARC
Yes, you know he destroyed Tauia but do you know why he destroyed Tauia?
COMPUTER V.O.
He was detained by Krustalos High Guard.
MARC

COMPUTER V.O.

MARC

COMPUTER
He organized a group of Krustalos and Prisean fighters to end the war of the two factions and end the use of super-children to conquer other worlds.
Jon stepped beside his son.
JON
So you're saying Nikklo was trying to stop the Krustalos' violence toward all the other races?
COMPUTER V.O.
Nikklo was unsuccessful and was punished by the Krustalos for protesting their rule.
JON
So he was working to make Krustalos life better but he was unsuccessful because he was caught and punished. The Krustalos caused the destruction of Tauia with their sloppy attempt at punishing Nikklo!
COMPUTER V.O.
That is a different perspective that can be considered by the recorded history.
JON
Computer, did you record the recent situation known as the Kobihok Ridge Wildfire?
COMPUTER V.O.
This computer is unable to interface with current technology.
JON
The surviving Krustalos came to this planet under Nikklo's command to help the Prisean survivors put out a wildfire that destroyed twenty-seven thousand acres of mountain land by using their phasing ability to transport salt blocks and water into the mountains to snuff out the flames. Our lives were saved by
Nikklo's plans to combine the talents of Krustallos and Prisean for the survival of both.
MARC
Is that a good enough reason to say that Nikklo sought amends for the wrongs he caused in the past?
Nikklo's light turned off.

Nikklo dropped to his knees then shakily stood again.
NIKKLO
Tarek helped me every step of the way to seek forgiveness. He should be freed as well.

DANIKO
I'm not sure I'm ready for this!
CHECHIKI

Let us allow each person to choose what they wish to do while we preserve the culture we have made since we landed here on Bamasha.
Steve brushed his hand over his short brown hair.
STEVE
Wow, this is a lot to take in.
JIM
I'm glad this happened. I saw my partner treated badly because he was different. I'm sorry to say this, but we Humans entered space with no idea what we were encroaching on and we need to understand that we are the new kids in space and learn from the races that were already out here before we began our exploration instead of adding to the violence that was already happening before we came.

DANIKO
Candora, I do not know what I should do here?
The other elders nodded their heads.
CANDORA
Jonathan's office can oversee this. Jim Meyers is very knowledgeable with technology.
Jon nodded in agreement.
JON
I even think we should allow Chechiki and any other Brocana who wishes to know about their technology help with Jim Meyers to explore this cavern.
Chechiki nodded and smiled.
CHECHIKI
I like that. The machines in here belong to Brocana.
DANIKO
Thank you for fulfilling your destiny, Nikklo. Instead of Destroyer of Worlds, you are now Defender of Worlds. I say to this council, has Nikklo showed he should be exonerated for his harm to our people?
CHECHIKI
We gave him the Shaman brand because we appreciated that he worked himself to exhaustion to save our lands from wildfire. I say he is forgiven.
Many people nodded in agreement.
LINEA V.O.
Daddy, we still in trouble?
Nikklo looked down at his tiny daughter tried to contain his surging emotions. He knelt down to hug her.
Jon turned from talking to another elder to study him.
JON
Are you okay, Nikky?
NIKKLO
Did Daniko really say I'm no longer the Destroyer of Worlds?
JON
Yes, you are now the Defender of Worlds.
Nikklo buried his head into Linea's hair as a sob escaped from his lips and tears streamed down his face.
Jon laid his hand on Nikklo's back.
JON
I know it's been so long. Tarek? I think you should help your son. He's overwhelmed.
Tarek crouched at Nikklo's side.
TAREK
You did it. Your inner war is over. You have finally been told you're forgiven. We have been forgiven. It is a proud day, my son.
NIKKLO
I shouldn't be crying like a baby.
TAREK
For over two hundred years, you asked everyone for forgiveness and none was given until now. Release your grief.
LINEA V.O.
I all wet now.
Nikklo dried his eyes and stood up.
NIKKLO
Now will you understand when I say you should stay home? My work is dangerous, honey.
Linea's eyes widened and she nodded her head.
LINEA V.O.
I understand now. Can I go home?
Talia laid her hands on Linea's shoulders.
TALIA
I'm definitely ready to transport her home.
Nikklo laid his hand on the center of his chest.
NIKKLO
I'm almost faint with exhaustion.
Tarek laid his hand on Nikklo's shoulder.
TAREK
Let's get you resting.
JON
I will oversee who gets access to this cavern while you rest.
Nikklo nodded his head tiredly.
Jon laid his hand on Nikklo's arm.
JON
Thank you for all your hard work to protect us, Nikky.
Marc walked over and laid his hand across his father's hand and Nikklo's arm.
MARC
I am honored to be your executive
officer, Great Defender and my brother.
NIKKLO
(strained)
Thank both of you for believing in me.
Nikklo took Tarek and Talia's hands while Talia picked up Linea into her arms. They changed to TAUIAN FORM and phased away.
EXT. TOP OF A TALL ROCK TEKETRI PLAINS – DAY
Nikklo sat in a pensive mood on the top of a mountain. The wind that blew through his hair and the smell of sweet flowers gave him some comfort but there was a lot on his mind. He looked up to the gas giant that shone brightly in the sky.
NIKKLO
Aldumu, what do you want from me? Why are the ascended even allowing me to stay in this tier of reality?
Nikklo listened to the whistling wind for a few minutes before he dropped his head to stare at his garnet red shirt.
ALDUMU
I wanted you to apologize to the orphaned people I allowed to reside on my planet.
Nikklo looked around and saw the same figure who appeared during his and Ares fight stood on a rock above him. Nikklo stood to face the god of Alpha Centauri.
NIKKLO
Okay, I did that. Why did they allow me to be here anyway?
ALDUMU
I think you know why.
Nikklo thought for a half a minute then shook his head.
NIKKLO
I do? I think I'm confused. Would you enlighten me?
ALDUMU
In the early times, we ascended saw the conflict on Tauia and thought that, like all micros, they would
play out their disagreement then reach a truce and settle again. As time progressed and Beken forced his half brother to manipulate the crystal children to have unnatural powers, we realized that they would unbalance their whole galaxy with
these aggressive warriors. It was decided that we needed to intervene more directly. Ares objected by bringing it to our attention that the lesser realm was not our concern so we needed to leave the micro realm to handle itself. Hesshia, the guardian of nature, disagreed because she sensed many planets would be devastated or destroyed if no ascended interceded with the war.
NIKKLO
You're telling me that the dragon I rescued from being encased in gelstone wasn't just Ares mate?
ALDUMU
I never could understand what she saw in the chaotic warmonger. As we were shaping our intervention, Hesshia disappeared. Because she disappeared, there was no one to watch nature so it wasn't abused.
NIKKLO
That's probably when Ares trapped her here.
ALDUMU
Yes, he knew I didn't pay much attention to this planet because of my continuous disagreement with my brother Grennel.
NIKKLO
Gamma Centauri as he's known to micros?
ALDUMU
Yes. So we needed a new guardian to protect nature. You were very eager to escape your fixed condition because you were never content with what you were. Your galaxy was quite stable so we allowed you to emerge from your galaxy's center and offer yourself to become one of the enhanced warrior children of Tauia so you could directly manipulate Tauian events.
Nikklo sighed.
NIKKLO
I didn't do so well.
ALDUMU
You were young as hadron pulsars go. We had no idea how inserting you in the micro realm would go and were a bit late to realize you were close to being destroyed by the High Guard so we nudged Tarek to intervene and hide you away until you were more prepared to defend nature. The training you received as Sannaro finally shaped you into the fighter that was needed to change the course of this galaxy.
NIKKLO
But then Ares tried to stop me.
ALDUMU
We did not know Ares was directly involved with the shaping of the Krustallos into the nearly unstoppable conquerors they became. Someone must have guided Tarek to shape you.
A huge shadow blocked the light of both Alpha and Beta Centauri just before Hesshia stood near them in humanoid form in a flowing red dress.
HESSHIA
I guided Tarek and Nikklo telepathically because I couldn't physically move to intervene since I was stuck here in Gelstone. I also guided the Prisean survivors to land here because why would Ares want to cross a region with three sentient beings actively watching this system?
NIKKLO
So why did the ascended say I could stay? I already apologized to the Brocana for destroying Tauia and I freed you.
HESSHIA
Because I have always chosen a warrior to represent me directly to the micros because my draconic form generates fear in Micros. On Earth, I had two representatives, Hercules and Hermaphrodite.
NIKKLO
Don't call me that!
HESSHIA
I mean no disrespect to your mixed gender.
NIKKLO
My name is Nikklo!
HESSHIA
Or Nikole in female form. I realize that, dear. My point is where is Hercules?
NIKKLO
I threw in into a bramble bush in ancient Greece for giving away my scouting party to nearby Roman Sentries!
HESSHIA
Oh yes, I remember that comical fight. You were taken by the Romans and forced to be a Gladiator. That was some good training but just how to survive knives, swords and nets wasn't adequate enough. Sadly, Hercules was finally confined to Mount Olympus by Hera. He wasn't creative enough. Of all the candidates I sponsored, you were the
only one who was the best at hiding in plain sight and always got back up every time you were knocked down but what really made you the most resilient was your magnificent pulsar power. Our master was pleased with you as an agent.
Nikklo crossed his arms in front of his chest.
NIKKLO
Who is your master, Hesshia?
HESSHIA
Reality is my master.
ALDUMU
The creator of all.
NIKKLO
I almost unraveled reality!
HESSHIA
Yes, that's why you were quickly intercepted and healed. I wish they hadn't restored Ares, though.
Hesshia shrugged her shoulders. She looked up to the sky.
HESSHIA (CONT.)
(shouted)
You shut up, miscreant. The ascended said you no longer had a relationship with me! Next time I may seal you in Gelstone!
Hesshia listened for a minute. She sighed happily.
HESSHIA (CONT.)
That shut him up for now. I must leave. I have much to do since I was
forced to neglect my duties for so long.
Hesshia disappeared and a large shadow became progressively smaller until it was gone.
ALDUMU
I hope that answers most of your questions, Nikklo?
NIKKLO
It did. So I'm a guardian of sentient micro life forms.
ALDUMU
The Guardian of Nature said you were. I have been here too long. I must return to my giant star and make sure Grennel didn't do something in my absence.
NIKKLO
Isn't Grennel a dog?
ALDUMU
Even you know why he's such an annoyance.
Aldumu disappeared in a cloud of dust.
Tarek appeared beside Nikklo.
TAREK
Wow, when you want to be alone, you find the remotest place to land.
Nikklo looked across the vast landscape below them.
NIKKLO
I have a lot on my mind.
TAREK
Anything I can help with?
NIKKLO
Not really. I remember asking you why I could exist as a sentient Hadron Pulsar.
TAREK
I remember I said only others of your kind can answer that.
NIKKLO
Well, I got my answer.
Tarek sat down on a nearby rock.
TAREK
So what was your answer?
NIKKLO
The higher beings of this reality didn't like how unstoppable the Krustallos were becoming when they began to threaten other beings and make the super-children. When they heard that you wanted to stop what you had started, they chose one of the ascended to come be your super-child who would force the Krustallos to end their tyranny of the universe. I was the one who they thought could do the job so here I am.
TAREK
It's good that I had higher support for my plan. Now that it seems to be complete, what do we do now?
NIKKLO
Try to keep the peace between these argumentative beings.
TAREK
So basically keep doing what we've been doing?
NIKKLO
Pretty much. I think that since you came looking for me, someone needs me?
TAREK
You guessed it.
Nikklo stood up.
NIKKLO
Okay, let's get back to see what they need me to do.
Nikklo and Tarek changed to TAUIAN FORM and flew back to Aldumu's Point.
EXT. ALDUMU'S POINT -DAY
Nikklo noticed that Tarek was flying in a sure course so Nikklo followed his father until they landed on top of a small mesa not far from Aldumu's Point.
Nikklo froze in his tracks.
Tarek changed to SAILI FORM.
CHERNA
Nikky, I know you're here. Change forms and talk to me. Tell me what happened to you that unsettled reality.
TAREK
I'll leave you both to your talk.
NIKKLO PSI V.O
(sarcastically)

TAREK PSI V.O.
She's your wife. That doesn't mean I won't be open to hearing you if you ask but right now, I think this is something you need to face on your own.
Cherna crossed her arms in frustration.
CHERNA
Are you done?
Nikklo changed to his SAILI FORM.
NIKKLO
I'm done. This was just so – sudden.
CHERNA
No kidding. I was watching the external camera feed on the bridge then suddenly, I felt like you were phasing me but everything began to
warp and become cloudy. I had to calm a ship full of people who usually don't panic under some tough situations. What happened, Nikky?
NIKKLO
You know that when something blindsides me, I need some time to think it through. That's what I've been doing.
Cherna turned around and looked over the green-brown vegetation that passed for grass on this hot dry world.
CHERNA
And I'm guessing you're meaning I'm asking too soon? Are you okay?
NIKKLO
I'm a lot better than I was. My mind is healing and the higher beings have restored order.
CHERNA
And how does that impact us?
NIKKLO
It works well for us. I will remain the Tsikakayu in command of the Euryanassa.
CHERNA
And?
Nikklo looked at his beautiful wife through his eyelashes.
NIKKLO
And remain your partner in all things.
Cherna smiled hugely.
CHERNA
(huskily)
You know I can't resist you when you look at me like that!
NIKKLO
(smirked)

Cherna stepped up to him and kissed him.
CHERNA
Well done, warrior.
NIKKLO
You did an impressive job, yourself. Great first solo command.
CHERNA
(flattered)

NIKKLO

Di'ok shouted from the lower ridge near the tunnel to the Prisean crash site.
DI'OK
Hey, we have some fantastic new information!
Cherna frowned.
CHERNA
Know it all brothers!
Nikklo arched his eyebrows.
NIKKLO
Houk, he had to pick right then to interrupt us. Let's see what he's found.
CHERNA
You know that dragon lady you helped?
NIKKLO
Yes.
CHERNA
She disappeared from the Euryanassa. I was too busy settling people to report it to you.
NIKKLO
I know she disappeared because she came to my rescue. She's thankful toward us for freeing her from her prison. That's mainly why I'm allowed to remain here.
CHERNA
Oh, okay, I'm glad she explained her disappearance. That crazy side rescue actually made all the difference in how things turned out?
NIKKLO
One favor lead to another favor. It worked out.
They rushed down the ramp into the cave and several minutes later, they were in the cavern with the ship.
Di'ok met them.
DI'OK
You have to see this machine I found. I think I can get it to work!
Nikklo and Cherna followed Di'ok inside the ship.
Di'ok stopped at a machine that rose from the floor with a control panel on it. He punched a few buttons and a beam showed from a lens on the opposite side of the control panel.
A dark man with shoulder length straight black hair, mustache and goatee appeared inside the light beam. He wore an ornate plate mail coat, dark pants in ankle boots and a flowing cape clasped around his neck. He held up an empty orb the size of a basket ball.
NIKKLO
You!
Nikklo lunged toward the man then collapsed to the floor.
The empty orb now had a bright light inside.
The dark man smirked.
ARES
I win.
With a flash of light, he disappeared with the orb.
Cherna ran to Nikklo's prone form.
CHERNA
Nikky?
She shook his shoulder.
No response.
CHERNA
(shouted)
What did you do?!
DI'OK
I thought it was just a log recording station! I didn't think it would be dangerous!
CHERNA PSI V.O.
Danu, emergency! Nik has collapsed inside the Prisean ship!
Tarek appeared and crouched beside Nikklo's body.
CHERNA
What happened, Tarek?
TAREK
(whispered)
Who did this?
CHERNA
Dark man with mustache, goatee, wearing gold ornate plate shirt and dark pants! He had this big orb in his hands that was empty but then it flashed and a very bright light appeared inside and then he just said I win and disappeared!
TAREK
Ares kidnapped Nikklo's pulsar core. This body is an empty shell. I'll take him back to Sailia to a stasis pod until we can find Ares and free Nikky.
DI'OK
(gasped)
What? No, no, no! I didn't mean to summon anyone to kidnap Nik!
TAREK
I don't think you meant to help this kidnapping but I don't want to point fingers at anyone. I just want to take this empty carapace to a stasis chamber.
Cherna sobbed and collapsed on Nikklo's empty shell.
CHERNA
But he just told me with that mischievous grin on his face that the Ascended said he could stay here with me!
TAREK
(heavily)
This wasn't done by an Ascended who made that decision. It was done by a disagreeing Ascended who acted on his own. Before we can find where he took Nikklo's core, we need to preserve his carapace first. Please let me take him to Sailia.
Danu ran in and pulled Cherna away.
DANU
Take Nik's empty carapace. Vara and I'll take care of Cherna.
Tarek touched Nikklo's shoulder and they both disappeared.
Cherna desperately hugged Danu and shook with sobs.
Di'ok sank to the ground and buried his head between his knees.
Varanani walked in and hugged Di'ok's shoulders.
VARANANI
We'll get through this.
Linea appeared and glared at the sky.
LINEA V.O.
You bring my Daddy back! You bring him back now or I will hurt you!
Talia appeared beside Linea, crouched down and hugged the little Saili girl.
TALIA
Linea, please stay home and we will all look for your Daddy. Please?
LINEA V.O.
I am Tauian Krustallos! I can go anywhere I want to!
TALIA
I know you can but we want to help you find Daddy, too. Can you wait for us to help you search?
CHERNA
Please wait for me to catch up? I want him back too!
Linea hugged Cherna.
LINEA V.O.
I'll try to wait, Mommy. I'm just mad that he was stolen from me.
CHERNA
I know you're mad. I'm mad too.
Linea dropped her shoulders in resignation.
LINEA V.O.
I will help you find him.
Cherna stood up and dried her eyes.
CHERNA
Let's get everyone back on board the Euryanassa and begin the search.
DI'OK
Do we call for a shuttle or can Talia phase us?
TALIA
I'm sorry, I'm not as strong on phasing as Nikklo or Tarek.
CHERNA
Then we call for a shuttle. Let's go outside. Di, I don't blame you for what has happened. Let's work together to find Nikky.
DI'OK
I will do anything to find my brother!
Danu scowled.
DANU

VARANANI
Wanakaya and I have our jobs cut out for us.
TALIA
Linea, do we phase home?
Linea sighed deeply.
LINEA V.O.
I want to cuddle with Mommy Cheri.
TALIA
Then we'll take the shuttle so you can cuddle with Mommy Cheri.
CHERNA
I like that.
They came out into the bright light of the desert in time to see the shuttle lower to the ground.
Marc ran up to meet them.
MARC
What the hell just happened?
The hatch opened and Toko met them at the hatch.
TOKO
What's up? Why are you calling for traditional transport?
CHERNA
(heavily)
Nikky's gone.
TOKO
What?
DI'OK
Kidnapped By a stupid machine in the Prisean ship.
TOKO
You've got to be kidding.
LINEA V.O.
Not kidding.
Marc shook his head.
MARC
Not good. Do we have any clues about who did it?
CHERNA
Before Nikky was kidnapped, he told me there are higher powered beings he called the Ascended who have been interfering in Intergalactic relations. Then Tarek told me that Ares is arguing with the other Ascended about allowing Nikky to remain in Tauian form.
Toko slunk back to the pilot's chair.
TOKO
Oh great.
Toko closed the hatch.
Cherna sat down and locked herself in her harness.
Linea phased onto her lap.
Cherna hugged the little girl to her chest.
Linea laid her head on her chest and sighed sadly.
CHERNA
We'll find him, Lini.
LINEA V.O.
We will find him and I will hurt the person who took him!
Cherna hugged Linea tighter.
CHERNA
Easy, baby. Let's take one step at a time.
MARC
In this case, I agree with little Linea, I want to find that guy and beat his ass to get Nikky back!
CHERNA
Question now becomes who commands Euryanassa during his absence?
MARC
I do have the skills to command a ship but since we need Tarek to help us find this god being, we need telepathy so I think it would be better for you to lead, Cheri. I am willing to remain your second-in-command.
CHERNA
Fa'arata, Marc. Then I will take over commanding the Euryanassa to find Nikky. Let's get going, Toko.
Marc startled when his personal communicator went off. He cautiously answered.
MARC
Hello?
Jim Meyers face showed on the screen.
JIM
Hey, this may be a steep request but can me, Malia and JJ join you? I'm sick of the shit my people are pulling.
Marc glanced at Cherna.
Cherna shook her head.
MARC
Meet us at Jayma station. Welcome to the Euryanassa.
JIM
Thanks, partner. See you soon.
CHERNA
Let's go, Toko.
TOKO
Houk, Cheri.
Toko raised the shuttle off the ground and flew them toward the Euryanassa.
